I’ll never understand the thought process of, “Product A doesn’t have feature X, so it’s going to fail.”
As Apple has proven, success of consumer products is not tied to individual features. And as we’ve seen the iPod grow, we’ve seen it gain a selection of useful features without becoming bloated.
Is there really doubt that the iPhone’s development will continue after its release, resulting in new features and lower prices?
Microsoft either doesn’t get it, or doesn’t want to admit that they get it.
As usual, I’m with Gruber on this one.
